I'm either lazy, or I actually have a life. haven't posted for a month.

I must write because I miss myself, usually my psycho personality comes out through my deliciously intriguing posts...I'll laugh when I read them when I'm in my forties, IF my site still exists. But alas...

I go back to HK around Christmas or during the summer holidays,  but I don't think of it as a trip. Somehow it feels like going home. Canada is a random cold place where I study and learn, and interact with people who are not yellow.

New Year Resolutions

1.) Learn the korean rap part for "Amigo" by Shinee and perform it for dear friends.

2.) Learn how to knit. I don't care if it's a scarf or a thong, I'm determined to create something out of wool.

3.) Prefect the art of applying makeup.

4.) Get an A for math. I haven't done that since grade 9.

5.) Get into U-friggen-BC. or be grinded by a blender and be made into a human smoothie by my parents.

I am eagerly anticipating the new korean movie, Antique Bakery. It's a korean version of the Japanese drama, based on the manga. Yep yep, that's right. Yaoi has never been so sexy. I think I've watched the preview on youtube about 10 times already. It's a little odd to watch guy-on-guy action =.='', but somehow the inner pervert in me is cheering...And I'm not the only one.

Went to watch Changeling yesterday. I have no idea what a "changeling" is, but it was a good movie. A single mother in 1923? takes care of her son. One day after work, she comes home to find the house empty. The distraught Christine Collins calls the police. The police turns out to be a bunch of corrupted, evil, diabolical, motherfckers who don't give a shit about the peoples' welfare. So they find an abandoned kid, and paired it up with the mother, insisting that it was her son.

Of course the mother realizes that this weird kid isn't her son. Even after 5 months absence, a mother can always recgonize her child. This kid was 3 inches shorter then Walter, and he was circumcised when Walter was not. Something fishy is going on...

When the mother complained, insisting that the police continue looking for her lost son, the police refused to accept their mistake, and threw the poor woman into the psycho ward. There are some violent and scarring scenes involving electrocution, twisted nurses, and screams of pain. Um, there's a crazy psycho killer who chops kids with axes and a reverend who looks like Mr. Shier. It was a very intense movie, yep. Oh yeah, Angelina Jolie looks pretty good. A little wrinkled and worn, but still, not bad. I think her look was inspired by Dita von Teese, one of my idols for paleness.

You know what's fun? vandalism. You know what's even more awesome? vandalism with a friend.

Today we discovered the stupid multicultural dance auditions were on nov. 17-18 while TOA is on 19-20. That is unacceptable, how dare they take away our spotlight...So, I ripped off the poster and ran down the hall laughing like a maniac. I am proud to say, Julia followed in my trusty footsteps. What an amusing activity; we're cool and you know it.

Anyways, yay for Barack Obama!!! Isn't it cool how giant masses of teenagers surrounded the White House just to celebrate a new president? This is one of the most poignant, and dramatic political elections I've ever seen. Wouldn't it be fun to look back to this day in 50 years and remember the first black president? I think the magic lies in the fact that this has only happened in Hollywood films and fairytales. Equality is not a happy ending, but a happy beginning. For now, everyone is anticipating for the wars to end. As for the rest, well, it can only get better, no?

This week has been quite fun.

On Thursday I went to watch this piano concert featuring a fat chinese guy named Lang Lang at Orpheum Theatre with my piano teacher. She brought binoculars so we could watch his flying fingers up close. I thought it was weird until I saw the lady behind me with even bigger binoculars...

Friday was not so festive. I dressed up as a panda, complete with eye-makeup. People kept mistaking me as a mouse with a black-eye. At break I wiped off all makeup and destroyed the ears to avoid further taunts.

Yay for Garvin's birthday party. Raku Raku is very yummy, thought I always thought it was just a bar. After eating, we went to buy a cake and then went to Nesta's place to eat. Somehow, there was a Canto v.s Taiwan pool competition, and losing form of chinese people has to go out in the rain. Canto lost, but nobody had to go outside, phew... The cake was good, it was lemon meringue I think, and I discovered a new drink, ORANGINA. haha...

I like the name Stella Marie, it means star of the sea.

Haha, the name Naomi is "I moan" backwards.
